okok, so here's my first proper entry since i've touchdown-ed. i arrived in the wee hours of friday, 20th may. and it was great to be home. esp. after all the hectic turbulance. imagine, the seatbelt sign never came off and in-flight services were suspended. the pilot had to even announce for us to hurry to the toilet while we can! freaky. very! anyway, i've never felt so 'safe', so secure.. so i know where to go. went to the clean toilets and all. i came out of the gates at the reception of my dearest family members! and lo and behold, pammm.er-wammmm.er and diorry dearyy was there too! wooot!!!
after which, we waited for my sharon [cousin] to arrive. we chilled and hung ard at Delifrance. it was so fun! got to use my 'wah lao's, 'siao ahh!', ect. haha! when i got my order, i nearly tipped the girl! i mean, it'll be a great thing to do. but, well, the mooolah was my daddy-o's. so yeh.
sharon arrives to many hugs and tears! awww, it was really heart warming. swwweeeeet! then we all caught our rides home. got back, dumped our heavy bags and ran off for bah-chor mee @ simon road! the attendance list: mama, brother, dioryyy, pammmm-er, me. yeaa! nice nice. so we feasted and were greatly contented!
the next day, i was dragged to the beach at sentosa. the sun was b-l-a-r-i-n-g!!! i so couldn't take it. i would walk ard with tees and berms at 10degrees. now, u're asking me to 'bask' in 38degrees for a whole dayyy?! wooooah. it was an experience mann. halfway thru, i just surrendered. i ran into the waters and just soaked there. haha!whatta loserr huh.
we headed to town and popped by Far East Plaza to say Hi to the manys. and while we were getting there, we bumped into rishiiii at Hilton! he was there among the many hurdled tightly together to see the Bollywood stars! wow. they're fanatics dude. they screamed into our pitiful eardrums just to get us to run along faster. which of cos, we couldnt! traumatic.
since then, i'e been trying to wind my clock back to local time. and most importantly, get my life back on track. it's kinda hard. cos u put in all u can to adjust to the states so that u can enjoy every moment. and i did! and now to cast that all aside to return here.. wow, it's a pretty task, i say. the american lifestyle is quite a sight. there's it's ups and downs. from what i've seen and felt, i'm really up for more of it. it's swell. :]
